Britain is very cosmopolitan, with residents from many countries and ethnic backgrounds, and Hull has a growing community of international students who come from all over the world to study. The School works in partnership with a wide range of external agencies which support long term residents and the local communities. These include the Hull Islamic Centre, Global Accent: Interpreting Services, the Kurdish Information Centre and the Youth Counselling Unit. These agencies provide additional expertise to support individuals who are staying in the country. An ESOL magazine is published on a regular basis, where students publish their accounts of their time in Hull and tell others of their home countries. All students are welcome to contribute to the publication.
Design education in the UK has a high reputation throughout the world. Studying at the prestigious and specialist Hull School of Art and Design can take you a step closer to a successful career, whilst giving you the opportunity to live and study in a different culture, make new friends and travel the world.
